Suction Screen

The Suction Screen is typically made of Stainless steel and is located at the bottom of the oil pan. It has a mesh or perforated surface that traps dirt, debris, and other contaminants as the oil flows through it. The screen is held in place by a bracket or housing. Attributes: • Manufactured to precise specifications and are built for durability, reliability, and productivity. • Provided with 24 mesh wire screens with an efficiency of 1086 microns.• Provided with a temperature range of -20 degrees Celsius to 120 degrees Celsius, can be used in both High and Low temperatures.•Provided with a Nominal flow of 150 LPM.Applications:The Suction Screen is used to help to filter contaminants from the oil before it is pumped throughout the engine.
